Transforming Visions into Reality

Our Journey

Established in 2017, KV Innovations is the culmination of a partnership forged back in 2006 on a significant tiling project. What began as a professional collaboration swiftly evolved into a shared vision grounded in a passion for our craft.

Andrew and David, the driving forces behind KVI, seamlessly blended their expertise, and by 2009, they were actively working on projects together in and around Cambridge whenever their paths crossed. In 2017, the decision was made to formalise their collaboration and establish KVI as a brand synonymous with quality, dedication, and client-centric principles.

Client-First Philosophy

Unlike traditional enterprises named after their founders, KVI stands for more than just Andrew and David. It embodies a mantra, a commitment to prioritising the client in every aspect of our work. Our mission is to fuse our collective experience, skills, and aspirations to deliver projects that resonate with excellence.

 

Identifying a Market Need

Listening to client feedback over the years, we noticed a recurring theme: a gap in the market for a trades-based company offering a unique service. Rather than following the conventional route of a sales-oriented showroom, KVI aimed to provide a comprehensive solution here in Cambridge based on our extensive background in installations.

 

Navigating Challenges in 2020

The year 2020 presented an unexpected challenge with the onset of the pandemic. Undeterred, we seized the opportunity to lease our first unit, setting the stage for a transformative journey.

 

Opening Doors in July 2023

Amidst setbacks and delays, The KV Showroom officially opened its doors in July 2023 and underwent a huge expansion in early 2025, ushering in a new era of tailored solutions and unparalleled customer service.

  • Again, this will depend on the scope of the project and choice of fixtures and fittings. As a guide though, a typical family bathroom using mid-range products will start from around £13,000.
